The Speaker Series is intended to create a friendly environment for speakers, business experts and entrepreneurs to share their business lessons with like minded entrepreneurs, business owners and business leaders. There will also be lots of time for networking before, after and during the event as building alliances and friendships is critical to business success.

Ultimately it is all about helping you to significantly grow your business.

Dixie will be talking about bringing the conversation back to value through applying the 5 Laws of Stratospheric Success from The Go-Giver.

Dixie Gillaspie is a speaker, writer, coach to entrepreneurs and a Master Certified Go-Giver Coach. She is the author of Just Blow it Up – Firepower for Living an Unlimited Life and a companion book, Doses of Dynamite – Firepower for Capturing the Inspiration in Everyday Things. Dixie considers herself more of a “story teller” than a speaker, but she’s shared the stage with the likes of Zig Zigler, Bob Burg, John David Mann, Scott Ginsberg, Mark Sanborn, and Southwest Airlines President Emerita, Coleen Barrett. She’s allergic to the word “CAN’T” and her Blast Thru Coaching(TM) method is a process for challenging, and even eliminating that word from your vocabulary.

Then you take to the next level by getting invited as the “expert” to television and public events. Jeff will share some of his lessons and tips with us this evening.

Fund Raiser: Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada

Sick Child in HospitalVince and Doug recently had the privilege of working with the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada in a very enlightening situation.

The survival rate for brain cancer is 25% versus 63% for all other cancers combined. On top of that, there are many types of brain tumours that are not cancerous but still have a devastating impact on the patient.

Brain tumours are the leading cause of cancer death in children under the age of 20. The effects of treatment on the growing survivors is significant. There is some promising research that is looking at moving the needle over the next decade. So let’s do something about changing this.

Our charity of choice for this event is the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. We are asking for $10 per person at the door (you are free to give more) and we will be donating all proceeds to this cause. The very cool part is that every dollar donated will be matched by Brain Canada so the impact will be significant.

Duration: 2 hours (6:30 to 8:30 pm)

Parking: Street parking is free after 6 pm

Cost: Cash Donation (suggested $10 per person). Light snacks and water provided (Value $79)
